Murmerate was formed by a collection of colleagues who believed a different kind of agency could catalyze systemic change within organizations and across society. 

Murmuration happens when flocks of starlings act in coordinated movements at dusk before nesting, which causes a low “murmur” sound.  It is believed they do this for collective protection and warmth. There is no leader or plan in these movements, and instead movements are collectively coordinated by observing each other.

Similarly, we believe that no one person or entity can solve the world’s most intractable problems – from technology to climate to inclusion. Changes in the world are taking place so quickly with such widespread implications. It takes multiple perspectives, people listening to and learning from each other, and ultimately a culture that breeds innovation, trust, and collaboration.
